Why Commission a custom home painting?
Have you ever wanted to commemorate your wedding day by having a custom hand-painted replica of your gorgeous venue? Maybe you have moved into a new home and want to display a fun painted replica inside your home.
Venue and home illustrations make great gifts too! Gift the newlywed couple in your life a cute watercolor painting of their venue for an anniversary, or maybe gift your grandmother a painting of the family home.

About the custom painting process

Visit the listing page to begin your order
On the shop page, you’ll be able to pick out the details for your custom artwork. From there you can add your custom artwork to your cart, add on any additional features you desire, and checkout.

Pick your style
Simple paintings
Include only the building beautifully captured in watercolor with a simple white background.
Detailed paintings
May include trees, sky renderings, extra landmark items, or the addition of small animals like dogs or birds to the landscape to make the painting feel even more magical.

Add on calligraphy
I offer the option to add a personalized line to your painting. This can be the home address, venue name, family name, or another line you would like included. Up to 5 words.
Digital file and printing rights release add-on
If you would like to use your painting on your wedding invitations or other stationery with another artist or in a DIY situation. Please select “yes” under the add-on option. This will also include a digital file of your illustration and the limited copy-right release so that you may apply the digital file to your stationery and legally reproduce the work for your personal use.
Please know that any reproduction of artwork from Blush and Blue Designs is strictly prohibited and protected under copyright, you must be granted approval via this option in order to reproduce your art for personal use.
Reference Photos
I will email you using the email provided on the check out form to ask for any reference photos for your artwork. This email will also confirm your approximate completion date. All orders include a sketch phase of the project which will be emailed to the same email for approval prior to the final painting being completed.
Timing
Once your order is placed please allow up to 6 weeks for your order to be completed. I will reach out with the exact timing of your project within 72 hours of your order being placed.
